TenneT has awarded several contracts to helicopter and crew transfer vessel (CTV) operators for operations and maintenance (O&M) works on its offshore grids in Germany and the Netherlands.
Heli Service International and WIKING Helikopter Service have been selected to provide helicopter hoisting operations required as part of the maintenance phase of the offshore sections of the grid connection systems in the Dutch and German parts of the North Sea, respectively.
In the Netherlands, the helicopter hoisting operations (HHO) will be used for unscheduled deployments. in the German North Sea, helicopter hoisting operations will be performed only in case the HVDC platforms in operation cannot be reached via the regular access systems.
For CTV support in the Dutch waters of the North Sea, TenneT has awarded contracts to Sima Charters and Rederij Groen III. In Germany, CTVs will be provided by FRS Windcat Offshore Logistics and Opus Marine.
