Norway-headquartered OHT is launching a new office in Denmark as the base for its operational and commercial activity for offshore wind turbine installation.

The new office will be located in Vejle and is expected to be ready from 1 May.

OHT Renewables DK will be headed by Tony Millward, who previously worked for A2Sea and DEME Offshore as a business unit manager for turbine installation.

Klaus Nissen, who comes from Vattenfall, will be the company’s Head of WTG Project Execution and Camilla Verner Klejs, from Ørsted, will be the WTG Engineering Manager.

Torben Mikkelsen will project manage the new build project for OHT’s jack-up vessels, joining from Maersk Supply services, while Rasmus Rindum Jensen will join in March as Chief Legal Officer (CLO), bringing experience from A2Sea, Bladt and K2 Management where he is presently Director, Head of Contract & Commercial Advisory.

“Denmark is one of the major hubs for offshore wind and a logical location for us to base this key business unit as part of our expansion into WTG installation,” said Torgeir Ramstad , OHT CEO.

“Vejle is in the center of this hub, both for serving clients in Denmark and Northern Germany, but also for attracting an experienced and high caliber team.”
