U.S. weekly offshore rig count down a notch

The number of active offshore rigs in the U.S. is down by one unit over the last week, according to a weekly rig count report by Baker Hughes.

The number of active offshore rigs in the U.S. is down by one unit over the last week, according to a weekly rig count report by Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. unchanged at 397 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is unchanged from last week at 397 with oil rigs down 1 to 305, gas rigs up a to 91, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

U.S. Rig Count is down 394 rigs from last year’s count of 791, with oil rigs down 374, gas rigs down 19 and miscellaneous rigs down 1.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 to 16, down 6 year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada -4 rigs to 172 rigs.

Canada Rig Count is down 4 from last week to 172, with oil rigs down 1 to 100, gas rigs down 3 to 72.

Canada Rig Count is down 72 rigs from last year’s count of 244, with oil rigs down 69, gas rigs down 3.
