Chart and Howden team up for hydrogen solutions

U.S. LNG engineer Chart Industries and Howden have signed a collaboration deal, incorporating Howden systems into Chart hydrogen offerings.

The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding for advanced hydrogen solutions. This means they will be incorporating Howden gas compression systems into Chart hydrogen offerings.

Howden is a global provider of mission-critical air and gas handling products, technologies and services. On the other hand, Chart is a global manufacturer of LNG and H2 equipment, servicing multiple applications in the clean energy and industrial gas markets.

This partnership is to bring more cost-effective standardised solutions within an integrated and optimised service offering.

This will provide customers with tailored global aftermarket support. It will also leverage both companies’ manufacturing capabilities to score the regional hydrogen projects. These kinds of projects will move quickly to commercialization this decade.
