EIA: US weekly LNG exports up by one

Weekly LNG exports from the U.S. increased week over week, followed by Henry Hub spot prices, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) report.

In the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook for the week between 17 March and 23 March, EIA reports 23 LNG vessels departed the United States. This is one more than the last reported week.

Eight LNGCs departed from Sabine Pass, four each from Cameron, Corpus Christi, and Freeport, and one each from Calcasieu Pass, Cove Point, and Elba Island. They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 85 billion cubic feet.

Henry Hub spot price rose from $4.67 per million British thermal units last Wednesday to $5.26/MMBtu this week.

Natural gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export facilities averaged 12.9 Bcf/d, the same as last week.
