Petrogas E&P Netherlands, an affiliate of Oman-based Petrogas E&P, has started production on a gas field in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

Petrogas E&P Netherlands, which is the field’s operator, and its partners EBN, Rockrose, and TAQA Offshore disclosed that the first well on the B10 platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea produced its first gas on July 6.

This forms part of the Dutch firm’s Stage 2+ project, which also entails the A15 field that achieved its first production in February . The field encompasses the A15 platform, described by the firm as “zero emission” , and three wells, all of which are online.
