LONGi Hydrogen, a green hydrogen production equipment and solution provider and a wholly-owned subsidiary of LONGi Green Energy Technology, has been awarded a contract to supply multiple sets of 1,000 Nm3/h Hi1 electrolyzers for an undisclosed project in Norway.
Scheduled to begin operations in 2026, the project will play a significant role in achieving global climate goals by replacing fossil fuels with e-fuels, according to LONGi.
As for the electrolyzers that will be provided, LONGi said they feature high safety, efficiency and low power consumption, along with Balance of Plant (BoP) equipment.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of 2024, LONGi partnered up with ACWA Power, a developer, investor and operator of power generation, water desalination and green hydrogen plants worldwide, for the first phase of a green hydrogen project in Uzbekistan. Specifically, the two parties announced cooperation on the 3,000-tonne green ammonia pilot project. LONGi revealed that it will supply ALK electrolyzer stacks as well as full BoPs for the project.
