Singapore’s ship management company Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) and compatriot FueLNG have hit a new LNG bunkering milestone by completing their 300th ship-to-ship (STS) operations.

The two companies said they celebrated this “significant milestone” together on December 22, 2024, when FueLNG’s bunkering vessel FueLNG Venosa delivered 1,628 cubic meters of LNG to EPS’ newest pure car truck carrier (PCTC) Lake Shirasagi.

The operation was conducted at the Raffles Reserve Anchorage in Singapore.

For FueLNG, this marked the 300th LNG STS bunkering in Singapore. At the same time, it was EPS’ 300th LNG bunkering operation globally.

“Reaching our 300th LNG bunkering milestone, alongside FueLNG’s 300th LNG STS bunkering in Singapore, is a testament to the progress we are making together towards sustainable shipping. This achievement highlights the collaboration and trust among key stakeholders, reinforcing our collective commitment to the industry’s decarbonisation. We are proud to celebrate this shared milestone with FueLNG in a year of record-breaking progress,” said Suraj Sundaresan , General Manager (Operations) at EPS.

According to EPS, the company has received 1,624,143 cubic meters of LNG since its first LNG bunkering operations four years ago.

Last year, FueLNG Venosa took part in EPS’ 100th LNG bunkering operation in Singapore. Specifically, the 2023-built 18,000 cubic meter LNG bunker vessel completed its first bunkering operations with EPS’ 210,000 dwt bulker Mount Tai in June 2023.
