Denmark-based underwater technology specialist MacArtney has established a new office in Dubai, UAE, to expand its reach in the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and India, aiming to enhance local support and drive regional growth.

According to MacArtney, the move aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen its global footprint and provide direct access to its underwater technology portfolio.

“We are committed to enhancing our regional presence and accessibility. The new office in Dubai is a significant step in our strategy to expand sales in the Middle East,” said MacArtney Sales Director, Steen Frejo .

“This move was also complemented by the appointment of Saurabh Sharma as Regional Sales Manager in India in 2021. We see substantial growth potential in the MENA region, and our presence here will allow us to better serve our clients and explore new opportunities.”

The company plans to coordinate its activities in the MENA region alongside its existing network of distributors, targeting key markets such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

The new Dubai office is set to improve response times and customer engagement. To manage operations, MacArtney has appointed Kaushal Sinha as Sales Manager at the UAE office. Reporting to Frejo at the company’s headquarters, Sinha will focus on business development and strengthening ties with local clients.

“I am excited to lead our efforts locally and bring MacArtney’s innovative solutions closer to our clients,” said Sinha .

In January, MacArtney was selected by Allseas to enhance and future-proof its remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations with the replacement of three existing hydraulic launch and recovery systems with the all-electric eLARS.
