Another gig with Peterson for Havila PSV

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has signed a contract with Peterson Den Helder for a platform supply vessel (PSV) from its fleet.

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Havila Shipping has signed a contract with Peterson Den Helder for a platform supply vessel (PSV) from its fleet.

As disclosed, the contract for the PSV Havila Borg will be in direct continuation of an existing contract. It encompasses a firm period of three wells estimated to last 215 days, with optional periods for five wells, each expected to last 65 days.

The 2009-built Havila Borg is of a Havyard 832 design. The 3,787.4 DWT vessel can accommodate 23 people.

Peterson previously hired Havila Borg in August 2024 , to work on two wells for an estimated 200 days, with optional periods for eight wells, each envisaged to last 65 days.
