Norway-based energy services provider Aker Solutions has won a multi-year brownfield maintenance and modification (M&M) services assignment with ConocoPhillips Skandinavia, a subsidiary of the U.S.-headquartered energy giant ConocoPhillips.
While announcing a six-year frame agreement, worth between NOK 2.5 billion ($250 million) and NOK 4 billion ($400 million), with ConocoPhillips Skandinavia, which includes an option to extend the contract for up to two additional three-year periods, Aker Solutions explains that this is an extension for brownfield maintenance and modification services on the Eldfisk and Ekofisk fields off the coast of Norway. The new contract period starts in January 2027.
These installations are perceived to represent one of the most significant maintenance and modification portfolios offshore Norway for the Norwegian energy services provider. The work will be managed from Aker Solutions’ office in Stavanger, Norway, while fabrication will be carried out at the company’s yard in Egersund. The agreement will also provide work for offshore employees.

This deal comes shortly after Aker Solutions secured another multi-year brownfield services agreement for the Hebron platform with ExxonMobil in Canada.
