Marine survey specialist EGS has expanded their vessel fleet with the addition of the coastal vessel EGS Echo.
The 15-metre purpose-built aluminium hulled catamaran, incorporates a deck crane, davits, side mounts and a moonpool with a retractable transducer mount.
EGS Echo will service contracts in the UK and northern Europe.
The vessel comes with a full suite of survey equipment, enabling geophysical surveys and metocean studies.
The survey spread is permanent, but the moonpool and mountings design can accept a range of transducers.
EGS has also recently purchased the Norbit iWBMS to compliment Kongsberg and Reson multibeam echosounders currently used for coastal activities.
The vessel will be undertaking its first O&M windfarm survey in the Irish Sea within the next month.

Furthermore, EGS recently launched another addition to its fleet of multipurpose survey vessels, the Bold Explorer .
The company has also recently completed a geophysical and geotechnical survey for the second submarine cable of Seychelles .
