The United States LNG facilities upped the number of cargoes exported during the week ending May 27.
Data from the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that a total of 12 cargoes have been exported during the week under review.
The vessels had a total LNG-carrying capacity of 44 billion cubic feet (Bcf).
This compares with ten cargoes exported in the previous week with a total LNG-carrying capacity of 37 Bcf.
The data shows that five cargoes departed Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG plant. Cameron LNG and Corpus Christi facilities shipped two cargoes each.
Cove Point and Freeport LNG plants each exported a single cargo during the period.
The volumes of natural gas flowing to US LNG export plants dropped to 6 billion cubic feet during the week under review from the 6.2 bcfd recorded the week before.
The Henry Hub spot price fell from $1.83 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $1.72/MMBtu yesterday at the end of this week.
