Liquefied natural gas exports from the United States increased during the week ending June 17.
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) noted in its weekly report that a total of eight LNG cargoes departed the export facilities.
Out of the eight cargoes, Sempra’s Cameron LNG facility shipped three cargoes with Dominion’s Cove Point LNG plant adding two.
Cheniere’s Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi plants added a single cargo each with the remaining cargo shipped from Freeport LNG facility.
The eight tankers departing the United States LNG export plants had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 29 billion cubic feet.
This compares to a total of five LNG cargoes with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 18 Bcf that departed U.S. LNG exports facilities in the previous week.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals slipped for the week. Pipeline deliveries reached 3.9 Bcf/d, down from 4.1 Bcf in the previous week.
