Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States slipped in the week ending June 24.
Data provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that a total of seven LNG tankers departed the U.S. export facilities.
The seven tankers had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 25 Billion cubic feet.
This compares to eight cargoes and a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 29 billion cubic feet, shipped in the previous week .
During the week between June 18 and June 24, 2020, three cargoes departed the Sempra-led Cameron LNG project in Louisiana.
Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility shipped two cargoes while one cargo each was shipped from Dominion’s Cove Point and Cheniere’s Corpus Christi plants.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals edged slightly up for the week. Pipeline deliveries reached 4 Bcf/d, up from 3.9 Bcf in the previous week.
