The fourth and final conventional Yamal LNG carrier for the MOL-COSCO JV was delivered by the Chinese Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding.

A company official confirmed the delivery of LNG Megrez took place on October 31, noting that all the vessels under the order have now been delivered.

The 174,000-cbm LNG Megrez finalized its gas trials in September.

The vessel has an overall length of 290 meters featuring two WinGD’s dual-fuel engines and GTT’s No96 membrane cargo containment system.

The vessel was delivered in time to start its deployment on the winter route transporting the chilled fuel between Europe and China.
