Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the U.S. liquefaction facilities have continued to rise week-on-week.
According to the data released by the Energy Information Administration , a total of 22 LNG tankers departed the U.S. export plants during the week between October 29 and November 4.
The 22 vessels had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 82 billion cubic feet (Bcf).
This compares to sixteen LNG tankers with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 58 that departed the U.S. facilities in the previous week.
Out of the 22 vessels, nine were shipped by Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG plant, with Corpus Christi and Freeport shipping four cargoes each.
Cameron LNG facility shipped three cargoes with the Cove Point plant adding two.
Natural gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export facilities averaged a record high of 10.1 Bcf/d, or 1.1 Bcf/d higher than last week.
