Weekly exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States have shown a drop from December 31, 2020, to January 6, 2021.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration noted that over the week under review a total of 21 vessels departed the United States LNG export facilities.
The 21 vessels had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 77 Billion cubic feet (Bcf).
Cheniere’s Sabine Pass plant exported a total of seven cargoes during the period. Freeport LNG facility exported five, while the Cameron LNG and Corpus Christi plants shipped four cargoes each.
The remaining cargo was shipped from the Dominion’s Cove Point LNG plant.
Natural gas deliveries to U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facilities (LNG pipeline receipts) were about the same as last week averaging 11.0 Bcf/d.
During the last month of the year U.S. LNG export plants also hit a new high averaging 9.8 billion cubic feet per day.
