EIA: US weekly LNG go down, followed by Henry Hub prices

As shown by the data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), LNG exports from the U.S. decreased this week together with Henry Hub prices.

For the period between 30 June and 7 July, in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, EIA reports that the Henry Hub spot price fell from $3.72 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $3.60/MMBtu this week.

U.S. LNG exports decrease week on week. Twenty LNG vessels departed the United States in the reported period.

Six were from Sabine Pass; four each were from Cameron, Corpus Christi, and Freeport; and two were from Cove Point. They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 75 billion cubic feet.

Natural gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export facilities (LNG pipeline receipts) averaged 10.9 Bcf/d, or 0.11 Bcf/d lower than last week.
