LNG exports from the United States increase this week with Henry Hub prices going up, according to weekly data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
In the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook report for the week between 30 September and 6 October 2021, EIA counts twenty LNG ships that departed the United States.
Eight of the vessels departed from Sabine Pass . Four liquefied natural gas carriers sailed from Cameron and Corpus Christi. Three were from Freeport, and one was from Elba Island.
They held a combined liquefied natural gas-carrying capacity of 74 billion cubic feet.
Also, the Henry Hub spot price rose from $5.63 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $5.95/MMBtu this week.
Finally, natural gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export facilities averaged 10.0 Bcf/d, or 0.2 Bcf/d lower than last week.
