Weekly LNG exports decreased by five vessels from last week, bringing down Henry Hub prices, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) report.
For the period of 9 December to 15 December 2021, according to the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, EIA reports that U.S. LNG exports decreased week over week.
Twenty-one LNG vessels departed the United States in this period. They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 80 million cubic feet. Eight were from Sabine Pass, four each were from Cameron, Corpus Christi and Freeport, and one was from Cove Point. However, there were none from Elba Island .
In addition, Henry Hub spot price fell from $3.79 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $3.75/MMBtu this week.
Natural gas deliveries to LNG export facilities (LNG pipeline receipts) averaged 11.8 Bcf/d; one per cent (0.1 Bcf/d) lower than last week.
