According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) report, weekly LNG exports from the U.S. remained flat compared to the last report period, amounting to 18 LNG carriers.
In the latest Short-Term Energy Outlook for the week between 1 September and 7 September, EIA reports 18 LNG vessels departed the United States. This is the same amount as the last reported week.
Seven LNG carriers departed from Sabine Pass, four each from Cameron and Corpus Christi, two from Calcasieu Pass, and one from Cove Point. They held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 67 billion cubic feet.
The Henry Hub spot price fell 82 cents from $8.95 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) last Wednesday to $8.13/MMBtu this week.
Natural gas deliveries to LNG export terminals in South Louisiana increased by 0.2 Bcf/d to an average of 7.9 Bcf/d, while deliveries to all other terminals were relatively flat week over week. Feedgas deliveries to Calcasieu Pass via the TransCameron pipeline were nearly 1.8 Bcf/d on Tuesday, a daily high. Overall natural gas deliveries to U.S. LNG export terminals increased by 0.2 Bcf/d to an average of 11.2 Bcf/d this report week.
