Maritime decarbonization advisory services company VPS has revealed plans to set up a fuel testing laboratory and a digital platform focused on maritime decarbonization in Lingang New Area in China.
VPS said it had signed an agreement with the Lingang New Area Administrative Committee on October 29.
As disclosed, the company intends to establish a fuel testing laboratory and a digital platform that will support the growth of sustainable fuel solutions, including green methanol, LNG, and traditional fuels.
The new facility will provide testing, inspection, and certification services, with an aim to leverage advanced technology and data insights to drive environmental sustainability and help the maritime sector accelerate the transition to cleaner fuels.
Boasting over 40 years of experience marine fuel testing industry, VPS operates through five laboratories.
