South Korean Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), Hyundai Global Service (HGS) and maritime and offshore classification society American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) have sealed a joint development project (JDP) which was concluded with Approval in Principle (AiP) for HGS smart ship technologies.
Japan-based shipping company, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), has joined the Ship Recycling Transparency Initiative (SRTI), an information disclosure platform hosted by the Sustainable Shipping Initiative (SSI).
