The Global Maritime Forum and RMI (founded as the Rocky Mountain Institute), under Mission Innovation’s umbrella, have released a report outlining strategies for ports to become first movers in providing green methanol and ammonia bunkering.
RMI and the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping (MMMCZCS) will collaborate with the Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance (ZEMBA) and Hapag-Lloyd to pilot a Maritime Book and Claim System for tracking and decoupling greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from ocean transport services.
